Westkapelle Dike improvement

In the village of Westkapelle, the Netherlands, Jac Rijk has started the earthmoving activities concerning a dike strenghtening project as can be read in the attached (Dutch) newspaper article.

Interresting detail is that just after the second world war Jac Rijk, on almost the exact same location, recovered some bulldozers left behind by the allied forces which were restored /rebuild. These bulldozers, very large and heavy machines in those days, where an importent incentive for Jac Rijk to expand and specialize in the heavy earthmoving- and mine contracting business.
